On Finding Carter, a teenager (Kathryn Prescott) discovers that her beloved single mom actually abducted her as an infant and she’s reunited with her birth family. The cast also includes Cynthia Watros, Anna Jacoby-Heron, Alexis Denisof, Zac Pullam, and Alex Saxon.
The show’s first season averaged a 0.50 in the 18-49 demographic, with an average total audience size of 1.14 million viewers. Season two saw a sharp decline, averaging 0.29 in the demo with 560,000 viewers.
Co-star Pullam broke the news of the cancellation via Twitter today:
Sad to say it but if you don't already know, Finding Carter won't be returning for a season 3
— Zac Pullam (@zacpullam12) January 29, 2016
The final episode aired on December 15th and, unfortunately, ended with plenty of unfinished business — Bird was getting an abortion, Rick was beating Ben, and Max was turning himself in for the murder of Jared. Hopefully we’ll get some answers in the future.
What do you think? Do you like the Finding Carter TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a third season?
