In an exclusive, Variety reports that Disney XD has renewed Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything for season two. This live-action sitcom focuses on gaming phenom, Conor (Cameron Boyce) who, after seriously injuring his thumb, has to leave the gaming circuit and adapt to life as a public high school student.

In addition to Boyce, the cast of Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything includes Murray Wyatt Rundus, Felix Avitia, and Sophie Reynolds. Creators Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton serve as executive producers. Showrunner Jim O’Doherty also executive produces.

In the first season, Conor and his three friends started their high school’s first-ever gaming league. In the second season, the team will set its sights on a global championship.

“Gamer’s Guide’s” July 2015 premiere ranked as Disney XD’s No.1 series debut among boys 6-11 in the young male-skewing network’s fifteen year history. To date, the show is the cabler’s No.2 live-action original series of all time across boys 2-11 and 6-11, according to Nielsen’s “live plus seven” ratings.
