Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back: Season Two Ratings

Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back TV show on FOX: season 2 ratings (canceled or renewed season 3?)

Last year, FOX premiered the new Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back TV show in the summer, and while its ratings didn’t set the Nielsens afire, it wound up being the networks second highest ranked unscripted TV series. Was that beginner’s luck, or have they perfected the recipe for another successful Ramsay run on FOX? Will Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned. **Status update below.

A FOX restaurant rehab reality TV series, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back is a new twist on the old Kitchen Nightmares format. Salty Chef Ramsay shows up in his custom, mobile “Hell on Wheels” command-center (equipped with a full kitchen) and assesses what ails a flagging eatery. In just 24 hours’ time, Ramsay and his team renovate the restaurant, refresh its menu, and help the owners relaunch it.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

For comparisons: The first season of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back on FOX averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic and 3.297 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
