From Brian Tanen, the Grand Hotel TV show is an English-language drama based on the Spanish series, Gran Hotel by creators Ramón Campos, Jr. and Gema R. Neira. The primetime soap centers on the Riviera Grand, the last family-owned hotel in culturally diverse Miami Beach, Florida.
The magnetic Santiago Mendoza (Bichir) owns the hotel. Meanwhile, his second wife, Gigi (Sánchez), lives the good life this business brings, along with their grown children, Alicia (Tontz) and Javi (Craig).
The hotel is a second home to its exclusive clientele, who revel in excess. Beneath the veneer of luxury, lurk sinful scandals, financial foibles, and deep, dark secrets.
