What’s going on with Grey’s Anatomy and The Conners? Recently, ABC boss Karey Burke discussed the future of both TV shows, Deadline reports.
A spin-off of Roseanne, The Conners is in its first season and stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey, and Maya Lynne Robinson. Meanwhile, Grey’s Anatomy is in the middle of its 15th season. The medical drama stars Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, and Kim Raver.
At this year’s winter TCA press conference, Burke revealed ABC is close to renewing Grey’s Anatomy and The Conners for a 16th and second season, respectively.
At the moment, the network is still finalizing deals with the series’ core cast members.
