Homeland is getting ready for its sixth season on Showtime, and more details have been released about the upcoming season.

It has already been revealed that season six will take place in the United States, and it will take place during election day and the swearing in of the new president-elect. Now, it has been revealed that fans of the series will see a woman take on the position of President of the United States.

TV Line reported that Claire Danes revealed during a recent event for Vanity Fair that fans will see female President-elect, but it will “not be a Clinton caricature, but instead an amalgamation of all of the different candidates currently in the running.”

It has already been revealed that the series will not return until January 2017, so fans will have to wait to find out what happens next on Homeland.
