Lois & Clark fans have been waiting for a big reunion on Supergirl. Both Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain have roles on the new superhero series, but they have not yet appeared together on screen. The pair played Superman and Lois Lane on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Will fans see Hatcher and Cain on screen together again? Not likely. The season finale for Supergirl will air on Monday night, and it was not possible to get the pair of actors together for a scene on the The CW series.
Andrew Kreisberg said the following about the missed opportunity, per Cinema Blend:
“Storywise, it became difficult to make that happen, much to my, Dean and Teri’s dismay. There’s an episode in which they both appeared, and even though they weren’t in any scenes together, just to see their names together in the credits blew my mind.”
