Is Maron ending? On a recent episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, the IFC series’ star and creator said the upcoming fourth season will probably be its last.
Maron was renewed for a fourth season back in November.
On his podcast, the comedian said he was feeling good on set knowing that this season was “probably gonna be the last one”:
This season is gonna all be in order. There’s a full seasonal arc with several different environments, and they’re all pretty much made up.”
IFC has not officially cancelled Maron yet. Season four is currently filming.
Maron added that season four will pick up a year later from when season three ended. Guest stars will include Patton Oswalt, Andy Dick, and Adam Goldberg.
The fourth season of Maron is set to premiere this spring.
