Mickey is getting the boot. FOX has cancelled The Mick TV show after two seasons.
A comedy, The Mick stars Kaitlin Olson as Mickey, a grifter who is left to care for her sister’s spoiled little rich kids in affluent Greenwich, Connecticut. The cast also includes Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, Carla Jimenez, and Scott MacArthur.
A Look at the Ratings:
The Mick has suffered in the ratings since it debuted in 2016, and season two has fallen even lower. The second season averaged a .73 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.10 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s a nearly 34% drop in in the demo and almost 30% in terms of total audience, for the FOX series.
Today, FOX also cancelled The Last Man on Earth and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Deadline has confirmed the cancellations.
