Good news. Netflix has renewed its On My Block TV show for a second season, to debut on a date TBD. The series comes from creators Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft. Season one just dropped four weeks ago, on March 16th.
A Netflix romantic comedy-drama, On My Block stars Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, Jessica Marie Garcia, and Ronni Hawk. The coming-of-age series centers on four friends. Cesar Diaz (Tinoco), Ruby Martinez (Genao), Monse Finnie (Capri) and Jamal Turner (Gray) are bright, streetwise kids who are trying to acclimate themselves to their tough, new high school, in South Central Los Angeles.
