Partners: Quickly Cancelled or Big Hit?

partners tv seriesThis Monday, CBS is launching Partners, their newest sitcom. As you may have noticed, the network has very high ratings standards for their sitcoms and has cancelled a few with respectable numbers. Will Partners survive to see a second season or could it be quickly cancelled instead?

Partners revolves around two men — Louis (gay) and Joe (straight) — who’ve been best friends since childhood and are also business partners. Their relationship begins to change when Joe enters into a serious romantic relationship. Will their friendship/partnership grow or come to an end?

David Krumholtz, Michael Urie, Sophia Bush, and Brandon Routh star in this series that was created by Will & Grace’s David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. It will air at 8:30pm on Monday nights (following How I Met Your Mother) and CBS has ordered 13 episodes to start.

Once the other networks have their shows in place, Partners will be airing opposite ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, 90210 on The CW, The Voice on NBC, and Bones on FOX.

Before you share your opinion below, here are some previews:

So, what do you think? Will Partners be a big hit, a moderate success or quickly cancelled? Will you tune in, DVR the show, or skip it altogether?
