Don’t worry that Power will be cancelled anytime too soon. Starz already renewed it through its fifth season, back in July of 2016. Besides, unlike many TV shows, Power has improved in the ratings from season to season. The numbers in its third installment increased by 62% in the 18-49 year old demo and 56% in terms of total audience size (thanks in part to a move to Sunday night). Can this drama continue to grow in its fourth season? Will Power be cancelled or renewed beyond season five? Stay tuned.
On Power, James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) — the owner of New York’s Truth nightclub — is a major drug distributor, who has been struggling to go legit. The Starz cast also includes Joseph Sikora, Naturi Naughton, and Lela Loren. Season four picks up in the wake of Ghost’s ex-girlfriend, Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela Valdes (Loren) arresting him for the murder of FBI Agent Greg Knox (Andy Bean) — a crime he didn’t commit. His fight for redemption will lead to face-offs with the Feds, the media, new friends, and old enemies. Ghost’s biggest hurdle, however, remains himself. He’s constantly battling his own instincts, in order to become the man he wants to be. **Status update,
