Before a minute of the Roseanne TV show revival has even aired, ABC has upped its season 10 order to nine episodes. 219 episodes of the sitcom originally ran over the course of nine seasons from 1988 to 1997, on the Alphabet Network.
Set in the fictional Illinois town of Lanford, Roseanne stars Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D.J.) and Alicia Goranson (Becky). The Roseanne TV series revival centers on the middle-class Conner family and will air on ABC, in the spring of 2018. Sarah Chalke, who played the character Becky in later seasons, is returning in another role.
Although ABC has not yet released news of the increased episode order on its press site, Deadline has confirmed the news.
