What’s This TV Show About?
An E! Entertainment primetime soap opera, The Royals stars Elizabeth Hurley, William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Jake Maskall, Tom Austen, Genevieve Gaunt, and Max Brown. The drama centers on a fictional British royal family, in modern day London. They inhabit a world of opulence that caters to their every desire, but one that also comes with a price tag of duty, destiny, and intense public scrutiny.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of The Royals is averaging a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 401,000 viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 30% and 25%, respectively. Find out how The Royals stacks up against other scripted E! TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will E! cancel or The Royals for season five? Back in December of 2017 though, the creator was fired in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations. Whether or not that affects this show’s chance to continue remains to be seen. The ratings have seen a significant drop but my sense is that E! wants to continue to dabble in the scripted TV business. I’ll update this page with breaking developments.
