Season Six of the Scandal TV Show Debuts on ABC in January
First of all, Scandal is finally coming to ABC, in the new year. The Alphabet Network has announced Scandal season six premieres Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 9:00pm ET/PT. What’s more, the entire TGIT lineup returns that night with all new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder.
Scandal stars Kerry Washington as crisis manager Olivia Pope. The the upcoming sixth season was cut from 22 episodes to 16 and delayed until mid-season, to accommodate Washington’s pregnancy. Shonda Rhimes’ political thriller also stars Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Jeff Perry, Tony Goldwin, Bellamy Young, Joshua Malina, Scott Foley, Joe Morton, Portia de Rossi, and Cornelius Smith Jr.

Note: The winter mid-season finales of Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder will air on Thursday, November 17th.
