Sex and the City: HBO Max Revival in the Works (Report)

Sex and the City TV Show on HBO: canceled or renewed?

Sex and the City may soon be back on the small screen. HBO Max is looking to revive the popular TV show which ran for 94 episodes on HBO and spawned two feature films. If the revival happens, it would likely be a limited series featuring the return of some of the original cast.

Right now, it looks like stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis would return to the series, which focused on the life of Carrie Bradshaw and her friends as they lived their lives in New York City.

Kim Cattrall is not likely to appear, per Deadline. The actress has repeatedly said that she was not interested in reprising her role. Cattrall most recently appeared on Filthy Rich on FOX. That series was cancelled after one season, and it aired its final episode earlier this month.

This is not the only HBO series return in the planning stages. It was reported recently that a reboot of True Blood is in the works as well. HBO is also reviving In Treatment.

What do you think? Did you watch Sex and the City on HBO? Would you watch a revival on HBO Max?
