An elf, a human, and a human-elf hybrid team together to stop a demon. That’s the premise for MTV’s new series, The Shannara Chronicles.
The show premieres on January 5th and is based on the book series by Terry Brooks.
Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, and Poppy Drayton star as the central trio, with Daniel MacPherson and Lord of the Rings‘ John Rhys-Davies also starring.
In anticipation of the series’ premiere, Syfy Australia has released a new three-minute sneak peek of the series.
