On Shark Tank, entrepreneurs offer a portion of their companies to a group of saavy (and sometimes cuthroat) millionaire investors. This season, the “sharks” include Robert Herjavec, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Steve Tisch, and John Paul DeJoria.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
