What’s This TV Show About?

Airing on the USA Network cable channel, The Sinner stars Jessica Biel, Bill Pullman, Christopher Abbott, Patti D’Arbanville, Grayson Eddey, Jacob Berger, Adrienne Lovette, Spenser Granese, Rileigh McDonald, Jordana Rose, Lindsay, Torrey, and Rebecca Wisocky. Based on the Petra Hammesfahr novel, the series centers on Cora Tannetti (Biel). When overwhelmed by an incomprehensible burst of rage, this young wife and mother commits an astonishingly violent act, which even she cannot understand.
 

Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take

USA isn’t fooling around with that imprecise “limited event series” label. It has billed The Sinner as  an “eight episode close-ended series.” But despite my crippling hunger pangs, I look to the viewers’ verdict, via the ratings.
