Dermot Mulroney is coming to ABC. Deadline reports the Shameless star has joined season two of Station 19.
A Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, the drama series is set at a Seattle firehouse where all the firefighters are EMTs. The cast includes Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Alberto Frezza, Jay Hayden, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre, and Miguel Sandoval.
On Station 19, Mulroney will be playing “a character who’s back in town after an extended leave – much to the surprise of pretty much everyone who has ever known him.”
Season two premieres on ABC on October 4th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
