The world of Suits could be returning to the small screen. Series creator Alan Korsh is working on a new series set in the Suits universe. The original series saw a massive boost in popularity on Netflix following its release on the streaming service earlier this year.

Starring Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Meghan Markle, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, and Katherine Heigl, the series follows Mike Ross (Adams) as he works for successful attorney Harvey Specter (Macht) at a big NYC law firm while trying to hide the fact that he does not have a law degree.

Per Deadline, the new series will be set in Los Angeles but has no outlet yet. The original series aired on USA Network for nine seasons.

It is possible the new series could also air on USA Network. After getting out of the original scripted series business and thanks to to the renewed interest in Suits, the cable channel is looking to return to the “blue sky” era of programming, per Deadline. The first new series following that model could arrive in 2025.

White Collar is another possible series fans could see return and air on USA. Matt Bomer recently revealed that talks are happening to bring back Neal Caffrey and other characters from the long-running series.

Other light character-based procedural dramas that had successful runs during that 2000’s era include Monk, Burn Notice, Psych, and Royal Pains.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Suits? Do you want to see it back on USA Network? Would you like to see a return of “blue sky” era shows?
