Sunday TV Show Ratings: 666 Park Avenue, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Good Wife, Mentalist, Amazing Race

Bobs Burgers ratings on FOXSunday, October 7, 2012 ratings — It was a full night of television last night. NBC had NFL football while the other networks had original episodes of America’s Funniest Home Videos, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, 666 Park Avenue, 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife, The Mentalist, The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, and American Dad.

On ABC, the return of America’s Funniest Home Videos drew a 1.5 in the 18-49 demographic with 6.48 million total viewers. Year-to-year, the venerable series was at the same levels.

At 8pm, Once Upon a Time dropped 15% in the demo to a 3.3 rating and 9.62 million. That was followed by Revenge at 9pm with a 2.6 rating (-19% week-to-week) and 8.27 million.

At 10pm, the second episode of 666 Park Avenue dropped 19% in the demo to a 1.7 rating with 5.08 million. Very bad news for this new TV series.

On CBS, 60 Minutes started the night with a 3.8 rating and 16.07 million viewers. It was up by 124% in the demo, thanks to the preceding football over-run.

At 8:30pm, The Amazing Race followed with a 2.5 rating (0% change) and 9.77 million. The Good Wife registered a 1.7 rating (-6%) with 8.95 million. The Mentalist attracted a 1.6 rating (-24%) and 8.70 million.

On FOX, the night began with a Simpsons repeat (2.0 rating with 4.64 million). That was followed by the season premiere of The Cleveland Show drew a 2.2 rating and 4.43 million. Compared to last year’s season opener, the show was down by 29% in the demo (vs a 3.1 rating) and down by 28% in viewership (vs 6.13 million).

The rest of the night was rounded out by The Simpsons with a 3.1 rating (-18% week-to-week) and 6.52 million; Bob’s Burgers with a 2.3 rating (-12%) and 4.84 million; Family Guy with a 3.4 rating (+3%) and 6.74 million; and American Dad with a 2.6 rating (+4%) and 5.18 million.

On NBC, Football Night in America averaged a 5.7 rating with 15.75 million viewers, from 7pm until 8:30pm. At 8:30pm, Sunday Night Football dominated the night with a 6.2 demo rating and 15.79 million viewers.
