you ruined it by putting it on Sunday…It gets pushed because of sports. We’ve set it to tape, but that got messed up too.
Put it back to where it was so we can watch it in peace
The show was renewed for season 6 weeks ago
Just as it’s noted in the post.
I love the mentalist !!!! They better not take it off the air they would be so stupid and ruin everything!
please don’t cancel! this is the only show I look forward to every week!!
Good show but basically like a lot of shows they carry a specific story line or case too long. If they do not Kill of Red John this year we won’t be back next. Too long of a story line, time to get Jane and Lisbon in the sack!
The reality of the situation is that canceling the show would be a huge mistake. I think the writers and producers are very certain as to want they want. It’s all about the journey, no matter how cliché it sounds. Where he was, in the beginning of the hunt, then it became a little bit more about who he was, slowly revealing his nature. The realization that he will never catch Red John until he truly allows himself to not only think like him but to act like him, is where we are right now.
Patrick Jane is not only searching for revenge but a way to redeem himself of what he had become in the past, to rid himself of the man genuinely responsible for the death of his love ones… Let’s be honest he not mean, he is cruel, mischievous and patronizing. More than once it has been proven that coward do survive. But still it’ll be ludicrous to say he hasn’t proven himself. At the end of the day he has his mind set up for one course. Red John….
I think The Mentalist is becoming antother LOST. I get the sense that they only came up with the cat and mouse idea but never had a sense of direction which in spite of the writers and producer’s lies, is exactly what happened toLOST. So I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a great wrap-up of this show.
I don’t agree with one user that Patrick Jane needs to be less mean. On the contrary, It’s hard to believe that someone on a path of vengence such as his would cower at crime scenes as he frequently does. By now, he should be fearless, but somehow keep his charm. My suggestion is when they know the show is ending, they should make every remaining episode about his pursuit of Red John and not the little girly episodes in between. All this amounts to is teasing the audience, milking advertising dollars until they get cancelled. I say get on with what we love about this show….The pursuit of Red John.
I’m sure the writers are reading your comment and changing everything right now
I hope that CBS cancels The Mentalist, after the scam they pulled on the audience with the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4 they deserve to be cancelled. Bruno Heller does not respect his audience and the bosses at CBS realized this and moved them to Sunday night, and I hope it is the death of this show.
I hope CBS doesn’t cancel The Mentalist without a proper ending, it would be a huge mistake, this show has a main plot (Red John) which needs to be explained and that can’t be done properly if they film this season finale without knowing wheter it is the series finale or not; a lot of people would feel cheated and dissapointed.
According to Twitter feeds and official websites from the main cast members, The Mentalist was quietly renewed for a 6th season at the same time as the 5th season but neither Wikipedia nor TVbythenumbers have picked up on this.
Love the mentalist. Would hate to see it cancelled.
I hope CBS will not cancel Mentalist. They moved it to Sunday a bad night and they have made Patrick Jane a little meaner and they need to make him the person he was at the start. It is still my favorite show and I look forward to watching. So please leave it on!!!!!!
