Moving to The CW isn’t the only change for Supergirl. The Wrap reports cast member Calista Flockhart may not be a series regular for season two.
During season one, Flockhart played Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) boss, media conglomerate chief Cat Grant.
Because Supergirl is moving to the CW, season two production is also being moved, from Los Angeles to Vancouver. Apparently, the location change has made Flockhart’s status uncertain. At this week’s upfront presentation, CW boss Mark Pedowitz mentioned they are still negotiating her availability. He said, “We’re happy to have her in whatever capacity is worked out.”
Season two is slated to premiere this fall.
