Cat Grant is back. Deadline reports Calista Flockhart will recur in season two of The CW’s Supergirl.
During season one, Flockhart played Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) boss, media conglomerate chief Cat Grant.
In season two, Flockhart will only recur as a guest star because the show is now filming in Vancouver instead of Los Angeles, where she lives with her family.
From executive producer Andrew Kreisberg:
Supergirl wouldn’t be Supergirl without the amazing Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant. We are so excited Calista has agreed to continue on the show when she can. We and the audience love to see her on screen.”
Season two of Supergirl premieres on October 10th.
