Chris Wood is sticking with The CW. TVLine reports the actor has been cast in season two of Supergirl.
Wood has previously starred in The Vampire Diaries and The Carrie Diaries.
The details of his Supergirl character remain a mystery, but he will play someone from the DC Comics universe. Wood joins fellow new castmembers Floriana Lima, Lynda Carter, and Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.
Season two of Supergirl premieres on October 10th.
