Supergirl has landed Wonder Woman for season two. No, Wonder Woman will not join the cast as a new superhero, but Lynda Carter is joining the CW series as the President of the United States.
Earlier this year, Greg Berlanti mentioned that they had reached out to Carter to appear on the series, but the scheduling did not work out.
Everyone involved was finally able to make it work it looks like. TV Line reported that Lynda Carter will be seen on several episodes of season two, and her first appearance will be in episode three. That episode is currently scheduled to air on October 24.
