Superman & Lois has cast its new Jonathan Kent. Per Deadline, Michael Bishop (above, right) is replacing Jordan Elsass, who departed the CW series at the start of season three production last month. Australian actor Bishop recently made his U.S. debut in the Disney Channel film Spin.
Starring Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Alexander Garfin, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks, Adam Rayner. Dylan Walsh, and Emmanuelle Chriqui, the series follows Clark Kent (Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Tulloch) as they raise their twin teen sons (Garfin and Bishop) in Clark’s hometown.
Season three of Superman & Lois will premiere at mid-season and The CW will announce a specific date later.
Bishop and Garfin shared the casting news and their reactions on Instagram.
