Superstore will soon collide with Ugly Betty. America Ferrera revealed on her Instagram this week that one of her co-stars from the popular dramedy series will soon pop up on the comedy, which is currently airing its second season.
Tony Plana appeared as the father of Betty on the NBC series, and he will now appear as the father of Ferrera’s character on the NBC comedy.
Per TV Line, her post on Instagram stated, “Introducing Amy’s dad on Superstore!! It’s @tony.plana ! What do you mean that’s weird? I’m not following… #alternateTVuniverse #TVdad #worldscollide.”
