Survivor TV show on CBS: ratings (cancel or renew?)It’s hard to believe that this is the 30th cycle of Survivor on CBS. Will the ratings rise or fall for this anniversary season? Could it be cancelled or is it certain to be renewed for season 31? Stay tuned.

Jeff Probst returns as host of the “Worlds Apart” edition of Survivor which pits three tribes against one another — White Collar, Blue Collar and No Collar. Contestants are Tyler Fredrickson, So Kim, Carolyn Rivera, Max Dawson Ph.D., Shirin Oskooi, Joaquin Souberbielle, Kelly Remington, Sierra Dawn Thomas, Mike Holloway, Lindsey Cascaddan, Dan Foley, Rodney Lavoie Jr., Jenn Brown, Hali Ford, Joe Anglim, Nina Poersch, Vince Sly, and Will Sims II.

The higher a show’s ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better its chances for survival. New ratings data will be added as it becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

5/11 update: CBS has renewed Survivor for a 31st cycle for the 2015-16 season.

Final season averages: 2.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.49 million total viewers.

Last year comparison: The Spring 2014 season of Survivor averaged a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.45 million total viewers.
