TV show description:
A group of enterprising contestants from various backgrounds compete in this reality series for the grand prize, a job working under real estate mogul Donald Trump.

During the show, contestants live in a communal suite and compete on two teams to complete tasks. The winning team is given a reward while the members of the losing team are expected to explain their failure to Trump and his two advisors.

The leader of the losing team and two others must then argue as to who should be held accountable for the loss and “fired” out of the competition. The final contest is held between the two finalists with past contestants assisting them.

The show inspired a version of the format that features from the world of show business, sports, music and reality television. On The Celebrity Apprentice, they compete to win money for charity instead of jobs. The Apprentice also inspired a short-lived series featuring Martha Stweart as the boss/host.
