Normally, a TV show’s ratings are the best way to tell if a show like The Closer would be cancelled or renewed for another season. In this case, TNT has already announced that there won’t be an eighth season but they are launching a spin-off. The seventh season of The Closer airs Monday nights.
There are 21 episodes in the season but they’ll be split into three groups during 2011 and 2012.
