Daniel Dae Kim is returning to ABC. Variety reports the Hawaii Five-0 star will recur on season two of The Good Doctor.
The medical drama s centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a gifted young surgeon and savant on the autism spectrum. The cast also includes Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, and Tamlyn Tomita.
Kim, who is an executive producer on The Good Doctor, will be playing “Dr. Jackson Han, a brash new chief of surgery at St. Bonaventure.”
Season two returns to ABC on January 14th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
