The Middle: Season Seven Ratings

The Middle TV show on ABC: ratings (cancel or renew?)In the spring, it looked like The Middle might be cancelled after six seasons on the air but ABC ended up renewing it after all. Could this be the final year for the sitcom or, will it be renewed for season eight? Stay tuned.

Taking place in Orson, Indiana, The Middle revolves around the Heck family. It’s headed by Mike (Neil Flynn), who manages a local quarry, and Frankie (Patricia Heaton), a dental assistant. They do their best to make ends meet and raise their three very different kids (Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher, and Atticus Shaffer).

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
