While it would be just Sue Sue Heck’s luck to get cancelled, ABC has renewed The Middle TV series for an eighth season. It must be Axl’s mojo at work. The network announced The Middle would be returning for the 2016-17 television season, as one of fifteen TV show renewals.
The cast of The Middle includes: Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

“THE MIDDLE” (Season 8)
Two-time Emmy-winner Patricia Heaton stars in this warm and witty single-camera comedy about raising a family and lowering your expectations. Middle-aged, middle class and living in the middle of the country in Orson, Indiana, Frankie Heck is a harried wife and mother of three who uses her wry wit and sense of humor to get her family through each day intact. Frankie works as a dental assistant, and her unflappable husband, Mike, is manager at the local quarry and her sardonic partner in the daily grind that is raising their average – yes, most definitely average – family.

“The Middle” was created and is executive produced by Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heiline. The series is from Warner Bros. Television.
ABC has also renewed: America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Black-ish, Dancing with the Stars, Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, Scandal, Shark Tank, and Quantico.

I love The Middle. It is the best show on tv currently. I hate that I have to work when it is on now. I watch it on prime time on demand. It is good Roseanne is back but it better not replace The Middle.
I absolutely LOVE this TV Comedy! I miss it every summer and spend my summer looking forward to it starting up again. WHY won’t they keep this show going? I’ve heard nothing about any of the actors wanting to leave, absolutely the BEST most interesting comedy on TV. PLEASE hear our cry’s ABC and renew our favorite TV comedy, PLEASE! I am so sad that THE MIDDLE is cancelled. I have watched it each week since it first aired. I feel like I know the family……It always puts me in a good mood…

Please, keep this on the air……… I love this show.. Or, make more show like this, with Clever lines not these so rehearsed one liners.. This is the Real Deal as far as shows… Stop with the reality shows………….
I LOVE THIS SHOW……. I mean love it.. it is so funny and witty. when I hear it was the Final season, I was sad. I love this show.. it is one of the best on TV. Stop with the reality shows and the Mystery shoes and the detective shows.. LAME. and the new comedies coming out.. so rehearsed and one lines.. Boring………. PLEASE, we need more shows like this on the air again.. Bring back the early days of good comedy………….

Yes I’ve been watching In the Middle since it began and it never gets boring. It’s believable and anyone can relate to the parents. It’s very enjoyable to watch!Funny and real.Reminds you of what’s important in life.Very glad renewed for another season!
I Love the show!!! One of the best, most realistic sit coms I’ve ever seen!!! Finally a family I can relate to.About time someone had the guts to create a show that depicts average people just trying to survive. Hats off to the writers and fantastic, and talented cast!!!!
