TV show description:
A spin-off to Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, The Paynes TV show centers on Ella and Curtis Payne (Davis-Patton and Davis). He’s a somewhat brash, retired fire chief, while she’s a patient, long-suffering homemaker. Retirement isn’t all smooth sailing for them, and they experience plenty of lows along with the highs.
After a death in the family, Ella and Curtis travel to Florida, and Curtis ends up getting drawn into a real estate deal that shakes up their lives. Even at their age, they both have some life lessons to internalize. Still, they face each day with laughter and love.
