Morris Chestnut is returning to FOX. Deadline reports the Rosewood star has joined season three of The Resident.
The medical drama centers on resident Dr. Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal), as well as Senior Resident Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry), and their colleagues at the Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. The cast also includes Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, Glenn Morshower, and Bruce Greenwood.
On The Resident, Chestnut will be playing “Dr. Barrett Cain, an intimidating neurosurgeon hired by Red Rock Medical to turn around Chastain’s finances. Cain believes himself to be a superman physician, capable of curing crippling diseases.”
Season three premieres on FOX on September 24th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
