An AMC Western drama based on the Philipp Meyer novel, The Son stars Pierce Brosnan, Henry Garrett, Sydney Lucas, Jacob Lofland, Zahn McClarnon, Paola Núñez, David Wilson Barnes, Jess Weixler, Shane Graham, Zach McClarnon, Caleb Burgess, and Elizabeth Frances. The Texas tale follows three generations of the McCullough family and features the rise of the McCullough family empire, as well as the metamorphosis of patriarch Eli McCullough (Brosnan) from an affable innocent into a conniving killer.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of The Son is averaging a 0.07 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 604,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 54% and 57%, respectively. Find out how The Son stacks up against other AMC TV shows.

Well, we don’t have to spend this season wondering whether AMC will cancel or renew The Son for season three. When the network announced the long-awaited debut of this new installment, it also confirmed The Son is ending with season two. Sit back and enjoy the ride, secure in the knowledge that I will be making dinner preparations.
