The Way Home is staying on Hallmark. The cable network has changed its release strategy for the drama’s third season.
Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, Evan Williams, Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Alex Hook, Al Mukadam, Jefferson Brown, David Webster, and Siddarth Sharma star in the drama, which follows three generations of the Landry family.
Hallmark previously announced plans to roll out the third season of The Way Home on Hallmark+ in January. Viewers of the Hallmark cable channel would then have to wait until fall to see the new episodes.
This led to fan outrage and threats of boycotting the show entirely. Season three of The Way Home will now premiere on Friday, January 3rd on Hallmark Channel, and the episodes will be released the next day on Hallmark+.
Season three will pick up where season two left out, with Kat (Leigh) and her brother reuniting and preparing to enter their family home.
