When can fans expect the new season of Transparent? According to The Hollywood Reporter, season five of the Amazon TV show is unlikely to premiere this year.
The comedy-drama stars Jeffrey Tambor as man who transitions to being a woman later in life. The cast also includes Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Rob Huebel, and Kathryn Hahn.
As reported earlier, Tambor will not return for season five of Transparent due to allegations of sexual harassment. As a result, Hollywood Reporter says production on the new season won’t begin until late 2018, meaning the season won’t premiere on Prime Video until 2019.
