Some disappointing news for Veep fans. TVLine reports the seventh and final season of the HBO TV show will have fewer episodes than normal.
As reported earlier, the next season of the political comedy will be the show’s last. Production was put on hold so star Julia Louis-Dreyfus could receive treatment and recover from breast cancer. The cast also includes Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Matt Walsh, Timothy Simons, Reid Scott, and Sufe Bradshaw.
Instead of the usual 10 episodes, the seventh season of Veep will consist of only seven episodes. The final season is slated to debut on HBO in 2019.
