VICELAND Announces Second Season Renewals and Two New Series (Watch Trailers)

VICELAND TV shows: canceled or renewed?

Krishna Andavolu’s Weediquette TV show has been renewed for season two, which premieres on VICELAND Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00pm. Likewise, Action Bronson’s F*ck, That’s Delicious has been renewed for a second season, premiering Thursday September 1, 2016 at 10:00pm.

Ellen Page and Ian Daniel’s Gaycation TV series has also been renewed. Season two premieres on VICELAND, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:30pm. A special episode, “Gaycation Presents: Orlando” features the aftermath of the mass shootings at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. It airs tonight, Wednesday, August 24th at 10:00pm ET.

Michael K. Williams’ new Black Market: Dispatches TV series just debuted on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10:00pm. The upcoming Abandoned TV show, hosted by skateboarder Rick McCrank premieres Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:00pm. BLACK MARKET: DISPATCHES

Expansion series premiered on Tuesday, August 16th at 10PM

The “Black Market” expansion series is presented by Michael K. Williams (“The Wire,” “Boardwalk Empire” and “The Night Of“) and extends its look into the underground economy across the globe. The show embeds itself within criminal enterprises, following contraband across borders and explores the politics that linger behind this secret global economy.

Hosted by Krishna Andavolu, season two premieres on Wednesday, August 31st at 10PM

This season finds Andavolu examining the prospect of legalized marijuana on the impoverished Native American community, meeting parents who fear losing their children to Child Protective Services for their (legal) use of medical marijuana, looking at pot use in the NFL as an alternative to highly addictive opiates to deal with chronic pain inherent to their violent sport as well as investigating caregivers in Maine who fight opioid addiction with cannabis.

F*CK, THAT’S DELICIOUS

Hosted by Action Bronson, season two premieres on Thursday, September 1st at 10PM

This season Bronson continues eating (and smoking) his way around the globe with his crew. The gang makes stops in Australia & New Zealand, Hawaii, Spain, Denmark, Italy and back home in New York. It’s a rare combination of rap, haute cuisine, fine wines and killer herb. For its first four weeks back, fans will get double the Action when “F*ck, That’s Delicious” airs with all-new episodes of the uproarious “Travelling the Stars: Action Bronson Watches Ancient Aliens.”

ABANDONED

Hosted by Rick McCrank, premieres on Friday, September 2nd at 10PM

Legendary skateboarder Rick McCrank goes on a journey exploring abandoned places across the country with the people who love them long after the lights have gone out. ABANDONED pays tribute to these modern day ruins, seemingly lost and forgotten, but not by everyone. On his journey, McCrank explores empty malls, schools, NASCAR tracks as well as emptied towns, an amusement park, the desolate Salton Sea, as well as the legendary Route 66 and the often maligned Detroit as it fights its way back from oblivion.

GAYCATION

Hosted by Ellen Page and Ian Daniel, the Emmy(R) nominated series returns for season two on Wednesday, September 7th at 10:30PM

Nominated for a 2016 Emmy, Ellen Page and her best friend, Ian Daniel, set off on a personal journey to explore LGBTQ cultures around the world. The first season saw them traveling from Japan to Brazil, Jamaica and here in America. In season two, with visits to Ukraine, India, France and the Deep South, Ellen and Ian discover the multiplicity of LGBTQ experiences, meeting amazing people and hearing their deeply moving stories of struggle and triumph. Through Ellen and Ian’s voyage, GAYCATION is able to support and celebrate the state of LGBTQ identities across the globe.

Gaycation Presents: Orlando” is a special episode focused on the aftermath of the shootings in Orlando, Florida. It will air on Viceland on Wednesday, August 24th at 10PM ET.
