The Voice: Season 14 Ratings (Spring 2018)

The Voice TV show on NBC: season 14 ratings (canceled or renewed season 15?)

In the Fall of 2017, the Nielsen ratings darling that is This Is Us was the only NBC TV series to beat out The Voice. How will it perform during the Spring cycle? While fans probably don’t have to worry about whether The Voice will be cancelled or renewed for season 15, stay tuned to find out.

Hosted by Carson Daly, The Voice TV show is singing competition. It typically airs twice weekly on NBC — on Monday and Tuesday nights. In the 14th season, first time coach Kelly Clarkson joins returning coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as the winning coach from season 12, Alicia Keys. Advisors this time out include: Julia Michaels (Team Adam), Shawn Mendes (Team Alicia), Hailee Steinfeld (Team Kelly), and Trace Adkins (Team Blake). The competition is divided into five stages: blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts, playoffs, and live performances. **Status update below.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

5/23 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

For comparisons: The Monday editions of the Spring 2017 cycle averaged a 2.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 10.35 million total viewers. The Tuesday editions of the Spring 2017 cycle averaged a 2.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 10.00 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
