New and returning Marvel shows won’t be premiering as soon as expected on Disney+, per Deadline. The delays are most likely due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Season two of the animated series What If …? had been expected to launch earlier this year but will now return over the holidays.
Hawkeye spin-off Echo was to debut in November but will now arrive in January
The X-Men ’97 animated series (a revival of the original 1990s show) isn’t coming this fall after all and will also arrive early next year.
The biggest delay is Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, formerly titled Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The series stars Kathryn Hahn and is a spin-off from Wandavision. The series finished filming a couple of months ago and was expected to be released later this year. It’s now expected to lead up to Halloween 2024.
One Marvel series is keeping its premiere date. Loki season two is still set to premiere on October 6th. Premiere dates for the delayed shows will be announced later.
