Will & Grace: NBC Didn’t Know About the 2016 Reunion

Is there a Will & Grace reunion happening? Recently, star Eric McCormack spoke to The Wrap about a possible NBC series revival.

News of a revival has been in the air since last fall, when the core cast reunited for a mini episode about the presidential election. Immediately after the 10-minute video was released, stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes all expressed interest in filming more episodes.

In the interview, McCormack revealed NBC didn’t know about the mini episode:

When we shot that 10 minutes, NBC didn’t know. Only after we finished did they give us permission. Once they saw it and once they saw the response, it was like, ‘There might be life in this old girl.’”

He later added that the revival was ultimately up to NBC:

It’s about networks and studios working out their stuff, but [the entire cast is] game.”

Earlier this year, star Leslie Jordan let slip that the network had already ordered 10 new episodes of the sitcom. Co-star Debra Messing responded by saying there has been no official order. There are just talks as of now.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Will & Grace? Would you watch a reunion?
