Telly’s Take
This docu-series draws very low ratings. However, much like reality series, news magazines are far cheaper to produce than scripted dramas and comedies. Though it doesn’t cost CBS much to produce, I suspect they’ll cancel NCIS: 48 Hours and look for something else. I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page, periodically. UPDATE: 48 Hours: NCIS was renewed for season two, which premieres Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10:00pm ET/PT.
