Lifetime may soon be taking All My Children fans back to Pine Valley. Reunion movies are currently being developed for the soap opera cancelled over a decade ago.
The soap opera aired for 42 seasons, 41 of which were on ABC before its final season moved to an online format. Throughout its long run, the daytime drama’s well-known cast members included Susan Lucci, Kelly Ripa, Mark Conseulos, Cameron Mathison, David Canary, Julia Barr, Patricia Barry, Jennifer Bassey, and more.
TV Line reports that two films for Lifetime are in development, with one being holiday-themed.
This is not the first time a return to Pine Valley has been teased. In 2020, a possible primetime series for ABC, with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos behind it, was in development. That series did not move forward.
