The seventh season of America’s Got Talent typically airs twice a week, on Mondays/Tuesdays and Tuesdays/Wednesdays on the NBC network.

Compared to last year’s second episode, NBC was down by 8% in the demo (vs a 3.7) and down by 16% in viewership (vs 12.64 million). Overall, the show’s still a very good performer for NBC.


Reference point: Last season, the second night of episodes averaged a 3.0 in the demo with 11.49 million.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
