America’s Got Talent: The Champions: Season Two Ratings

America’s Got Talent has been NBC’s top summer series for many years now and last year, the peacock network introduced America’s Got Talent: The Champions during the winter months. It also did very well in the ratings and outperformed the spring cycle of The Voice. Will the numbers rise or fall in year two? Will changes at the judges’ table affect viewer interest? Will America’s Got Talent: The Champions be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.  *Status update below.

An NBC talent competition, America’s Got Talent: The Champions features winners, finalists, and fan-favorites from America’s Got Talent and the global Got Talent franchise. Terry Crews hosts the AGT all-star edition, with Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Alesha Dixon, and Howie Mandel judging the talent, who compete in an “Olympic-style” contest for the title of World Champion.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: Season one of America’s Got Talent: The Champions on NBC averaged a 1.70 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.13 million viewers.

The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
