If it means airing on SyFy, there won’t even be a second episode of this new reality show. SyFy has cancelled Bazillion Dollar Club after one week. Venture Capitalist Dave McClure helms the business start-up series, which also features Highway 1 Vice President, Brady Forrest.
Tech Crunch reports that Forrest said, “It just didn’t gel with the SyFy audience,” adding, “Syfy was on board for the pilot episode, but as often happens with new series, they did not pick up the option for the remaining episodes.” According to Tech Crunch, production company Zero Point Zero is shopping episodes two through six to other outlets.
You may recognize Zero Point Zero from the credits of shows like Mind of a Chef from PBS and CNN‘s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. For now, file Bazillion Dollar Club under “parts unknown,” too.
What do you think? Did you watch the Bazillion Dollar Club pilot? Would you follow it to another channel?
